HARBOUR·PIXEL

Harbour Pixel

How we score

One score out of five, built from four equal parts.

01The four parts

Play: how good it feels in your hands, minute to minute.

Pixels: art, sound and personality, whatever the resolution.

Polish: how well it runs in a browser, saves and works on different screens.

Fair to you: adverts, accounts and anything that gets in the way of just playing.

02How the score is made

Each part is marked out of five in tenths. The overall score is the plain average of the four parts, rounded to one decimal place.

03What we check every time

Whether the game runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, whether it works on a phone, whether it shows adverts, whether it needs an account, whether other players can contact you, and how progress is saved.

04When scores change

Browser games are updated often. When a change matters, we play again, update the review and change the date at the bottom.
